The political parties in Scotland have begun to develop their manifestos for next year's Scottish Parliament elections.
LTCAS is arranging a series of events to give our members, and the people they represent, the chance to speak directly to the leader of each of the parties.
The dates we have confirmed so far are:
Scottish Liberal Democrat Leader, Tavish Scott MSP - Thursday 26 August (11am - 12.30pm followed by lunch) Scottish Labour Party Leader, Iain Gray MSP - Wednesday 1 September (11am - 12.30pm followed by lunch)
The events will include an hour for discussion between the party leader and LTCAS members and people living with long term conditions. They will be a chance to promote LTCAS' manifesto (available at http://www.ltcas.org.uk/policy_manifesto.html) as well as specific issues of concern to LTCAS members.
These events are for LTCAS members, people living with long term conditions and unpaid carers. Anyone wishing to attend or find out more about these events should email LTCAS at

LTCAS are hoping for a good representation of members and patients living with long term conditions to help put long term conditions on the agenda of all the political parties. |
