In April, Lorraine 'Loz' Spiller will be running, and hopefully completing, the 2011 London marathon.

Lorraine has decided to take this opportunity to raise funds for Gorlin syndrome as she is a close friend of a family with two affected by Gorlin Syndrome.

In Lorraine's words 'So why Gorlin Syndrome?  The condition affects 1 in 56,000 people and is therefore very rare and not a cause which immediately springs to mind when raising funds.  Despite the rare nature of this severe and damaging condition, TWO people very close to Zenshin dojo unfortunately are affected. Consequently, we cannot think of a greater reason to raise money for this most worthy cause'.

Thank you so much to Lorraine for further raising awareness of the condition and offering your support to the Gorlin Syndrome Group.  We are extremely grateful to you and those who sponsor you.

Anyone wishing to make a donation to this worthy casue can do so by visiting Lorraine's fundraising page.
