A Study Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of GDC-0449 (Hedgehog Pathway Inhibitor) in Patients With Advanced Basal Cell Carcinoma has now been extended to the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK.
This is a Phase II, single-arm, two-cohort multicenter clinical trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of GDC-0449 in patients with advanced BCC. All patients will receive GDC-0449 until evidence of progression, intolerable toxicities most probably attributable to GDC-0449, or withdrawal from the study. The trial is for those patients with locally advanced, multi-focul and metatstatic disease. For full details of the trial and eligibility criteria visit the National Cancer Institute website. A link is also provided here to the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. For those fitting the eligibility criteria and interested in participating in the trials a referral will be required from potential patients GP or consultant (referrals cannot be taken directly from patients). All referrals should be addressed to the Study Principle Investigator, and can be faxed to:-
