On 4th January 2011 the National Institute of Clinical Evidence will publish their recommendations on their website for the introduction and availability for Ambulight PDT in the NHS.

At this stage we have no idea what the likely outcome of this will be but there is a period of public consultation when it is possible to comment and perhaps highlight how the guidance may impact people with Gorlin's syndrome.

We are hoping that people with Gorlin's are included in the recommended patient groups to have at least the option to access Ambulight from their local GP surgery.

We hope to be able to supply the link to the site in January and perhaps it may be useful for Gorlin patients  to review the decision and comment as they see necessary.  We will keep all informed.
