The aim of the UKGTN is to assist NHS patients access high quality genetic testing services for rare conditions.

Membership of the network comprises genetic laboratories and their clinicians, specialised service commissioners and patient support group representatives.

The website is a useful resource and gives information about the structure, remit and work of the UKGTN.  Information is aimed at healthcare professionals and commissioners of services, with an area for members of the public seeking non-clinical information about genetic testing services.

The website includes a wealth of information about the membership, structure, remit and work of the UKGTN.  There is a search facility which allows visitors to the site the opportunity to access information about specific genetic tests and where they are carried out.

There are also links to other relevant sites. Visit ukgtn for further information.
